From the opulent 1920s Circus Wagon to the historic 1945 BoatShack, each blends heritage, comfort, and romance. Nestled among a meadow and woodland, both retreats have their own outdoor space for peace and seclusion. Guests can meet our farm animals or book special experiences such as private farm tours and romantic professional photoshoots.

Unique BoatShack Glamping Experience
The BoatShack is a historic 1945 vessel that once sailed from Penzance, now beautifully transformed into a one-of-a-kind retreat in the Cambridgeshire countryside. Set within the woodland and meadows of our family farm, it combines rustic character with comfort, featuring a king-size bed, reclaimed timber interiors, and an adjoining shack with a kitchen and bathroom. The BoatShack offers couples seclusion, a touch of adventure, and an unforgettable place to reconnect with nature.

Circus Wagon
Romantic 1920’s Circus Wagon Experience
The Circus Wagon is an original 1920s showman’s wagon, once home to a bare knuckle fighter travelling with J. Prestney’s circus. Restored and styled in an opulent, romantic fashion, it transports guests back in time with chandeliers, gold leaf details, and antique furnishings. Set within the meadows and woodland of our family farm, the wagon includes a cosy bedroom, lounge with record player, and a decadent dressing room. It offers couples an atmospheric escape, rich with history and charm.
Farm Tours and Photoshoots
At Dusty Country, we offer experiences that go beyond a typical visit. Guests can enjoy private farm tours, meeting our much loved animals and learning about life on our working estate, or capture special moments with a romantic professional photoshoot set against meadows, woodland, and our Georgian farmhouse. These experiences can be booked as part of your stay or enjoyed independently, giving everyone the chance to share in the spirit of Dusty Country.

Dusty Country is our family farm, where countryside living and creativity come together. We live here with our four home-schooled boys, choosing an alternative bohemian lifestyle rooted in nature and freedom. Our days are shared with horses, pigs, sheep, goats, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats, alongside our work creating unique retreats and experiences. Life on the farm is about family, animals, creativity, and embracing a slower, more soulful way of living.
Traditional French Brocante
The Paris Attic is our antique shop, inspired by our journeys across France in search of timeless treasures. Specialising in French antiques, it brings together elegant Parisian finds, curiosities, and beautiful everyday pieces chosen for both their charm and usefulness. Set within the farm’s old workshop, The Paris Attic invites guests and visitors to discover pieces filled with character and romance.

Victorian Penthouse with Panoramic Sea Views
Our beautiful Victorian Penthouse is perfectly positioned with uninterrupted sea views. Once part of a grand Victorian hotel, it has been transformed into a large modern two-bedroom apartment that sleeps six. The Penthouse has a luxurious surf meets rock and roll vibe, featuring an impressive open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space flooded with natural light. Historic and picturesque Ilfracombe has something for everyone, from traditional pubs and shops to hip cafés, galleries, and coastal walks. Close to Woolacombe, Croyde, and Saunton Sands which are renowned for their golden beaches and world class surf. The Penthouse offers the perfect coastal escape.
1958 Airstream Coming Soon
Soon to join our collection at Dusty Country is a 1958 American Airstream, originally from California. Currently being lovingly converted, it will offer guests the chance to stay in an iconic piece of design history, blending mid-century style with modern comfort. Set on our farm in the Cambridgeshire countryside, the Airstream will provide a unique retreat full of retro character and timeless charm.
